Economic Efficiency

The cost-effectiveness of the system is the most important quality of 3D-ST, as it provides the first natural path for promoting green energy — the path of a profitable business!

Profitability

The average price of electricity in the world is about $0.20 per kWh, meaning the annual income from one system installation would be $1350, with the device cost being $1199. This results in a 125% annual return on investment with a DNI of 900 W/m², and over 300% in solar countries.

Export Potential of the System

In addition to self-use, exporting electricity is the most promising application for this technology. The European market is very attractive in this regard for Israel, as it offers an interesting combination of Israeli DNI and European electricity prices.

The price of electricity in industrial countries in Europe is about $0.30 per kWh on average, which results in a 220% annual return on investment. Notably, electricity importers are attracted to this opportunity because it offers a ready product for use, rather than fuel—gas or coal—that requires significant investment in power plants.

Effective Solution

The main disadvantage of all solar generators is that they only work in sunlight. In this regard, two important aspects arise:

01

Problem

To use electricity after sunset, special energy storage systems are needed.

Solution

Use of batteries.

02

Problem

The most effective locations for such generators are sunny geographic zones.

Solution

Use of cables to transfer electricity from regions with many sunny days and high DNI.

Obviously, using these methods significantly increases the cost of electricity, making them a barrier to widespread adoption. But not in our case.

Exclusively low electricity cost of our system allows for the use of batteries and cables for transmission, while remaining highly competitive. This enables the use of clean electricity 24/7 in almost any location on the planet.

Market Potential

This system has no competition in the practically unlimited clean energy market, which, according to 2016 data, is valued at $280 billion.
